Primary packaging for fresh foods, including seafood, poultry, and produce, requires breathable, non-barrier films that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through the film structure.
These recycle-ready multi-ply bags thicken and toughen during hot water shrink, resulting in a durable package that is resistant to punctures and other abuse found in today’s cold chain.
Permeable materials help eliminate natural confinement odors, while easy-open features remove the need for scissors and knives, enhancing consumer and food safety. Our breathable shrink bags are designated as recycle-ready, RIC 4 PE.
