Why Corrugated?
Sealed Air offers two solutions that feature corrugated packaging materials: Korrvu® suspension & retention packaging and several automated cartoning systems that help right-size materials to ensure protection while reducing material waste.
Sealed Air also offers design and testing services to help our customers properly present their brands as well as ensure their packaging delivers the best possible protective performance.
Advantages of Corrugated Packaging
The sandwich-like structure of corrugated results in a lightweight yet strong package with cushioning to absorb shocks, vibration, and compressive forces. Despite its strength, corrugated maintains a remarkably low weight and due to its use of fiber-based raw materials, it is generally welcome throughout the global recycling infrastructure.
Corrugated cardboard can be printed, cut and converted into all types of branded packaging including shipping boxes, wrap, void fill, or structural reinforcement. Packaging operations dependent on corrugated can be further optimized by use of automated packaging systems that help adjust dimensions, reduce material waste, and improve line productivity.
