Ted Doheny is President and CEO of Sealed Air Corporation, a global provider of packaging systems and solutions that transform businesses, industries, technologies, and consumers’ lives.
From its headquarters in Charlotte, NC, Sealed Air helps customers solve critical packaging challenges with a portfolio of widely recognized brands including CRYOVAC® brand food packaging and BUBBLE WRAP® brand cushioning.
Ted has more than 30 years of experience helping global industrial and manufacturing companies transform and grow with a focus on technology, new innovations, and operational excellence. He is a regular speaker on sustainability challenges, the evolution of innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, and the Internet of things.
Prior to joining Sealed Air, Ted worked for Joy Global Inc., where he was President and CEO. Before this, he spent 21 years with Ingersoll Rand Corporation, holding various senior executive positions including officer of the company, President of Industrial Technologies, and President of the Air Solutions Group.
In 2019, Ted joined several other CEOs as an executive board member for the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a global organization established to eliminate plastic pollution in the environment. He is also spearheading Sealed Air’s efforts to partner with a variety of industries, including retail, food, and small parcel fulfillment, to form new business models aimed at conserving resources and lowering the costs of their operations. Under Ted’s leadership, Sealed Air has announced a sustainability and plastics pledge to design and advance packaging solutions to be 100 percent recyclable or reusable by 2025.
Ted currently serves on the executive committee of the National Manufacturers Association. In 2019, he was recognized as Best Paper and Packaging CEO as part of the Institutional Investor’s 2019 All-America Executive Team. He has been awarded multiple patents for innovations across various industries.
Ted received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Cornell University and a master’s degree in management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. Ted gained early entrepreneurial experience with his successful ownership of a produce business in St. Louis that funded his early education.
Emile Chammas is Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation and Manufacturing/Supply Chain Officer for Sealed Air.
Emile leads the global procurement and manufacturing organizations with a focus on SEE Operational Excellence across the company. He also serves as Chief Transformation Officer, reflecting his company-wide leadership of the Reinvent SEE strategy, and oversees the global IT organization.
Emile’s broad supply chain expertise, combined with his business acumen, strategic thinking and field experience working in many countries, are the ideal combination to lead our extensive global network of manufacturing, converting, large outsource supplier relationships and network of warehouse facilities.
Emile received a master's in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University.
Christopher J. Stephens, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sealed Air. He leads the company's finance organization and is responsible for all business systems and shared services globally across functions.
Christopher has more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the aerospace, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Sealed Air, he served as SVP and CFO for 11 years at Barnes Group, a global provider of engineered products, technologies and solutions for the aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, automation, health care, and packaging industries. Prior to Barnes Group, he held leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell, The Boeing Company, Allied Signal, and Ingersoll Rand.
Christopher is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Fairfield University Dolan School of Business advisory board and serves as vice chair of the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation CFO Council. He holds a master of business administration from Virginia Tech Pamplin School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King's College.
Sergio Pupkin is Vice President and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer for Sealed Air.
Sergio is responsible for global strategy, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, integrated brand communications, and Sealed Air’s digital business including e-commerce and SealedAir.com. He leads the company’s sustainability, research and development organizations, ensuring innovation continues to serve as a key driver for growth while creating value for stakeholders and society. In his role, Sergio works closely with executive teams across the globe from the inception of strategy to successful execution of initiatives and investments.
Sergio joined the leadership team in 2016 following a career of more than 20 years at Diversey, a global provider of hygiene and cleaning solutions. In his previous position, Sergio served as Global Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Diversey Care.
Sergio’s strategic foresight and experience has been forged over multiple international assignments in marketing, sales, and general management including Latin America, Mexico, and EMEA with positions of increasing responsibility at local, regional, and global levels, providing him with multicultural perspectives from around the world. Over his career he has led multiple transformational programs, strategic investments, and divestitures.
Sergio received his degree in business administration and marketing cum laude from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Susan Edwards is Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Sealed Air. She is responsible for all global human resource operations and global payroll, as well as global communications and community engagement
Susan oversees Sealed Air’s culture, talent, total rewards, and employer brand strategy with a heightened focus on inclusion and diversity. She is also responsible for the company’s social responsibility and global communications efforts aimed at reaching and engaging current and future employees, the media, and community partners around the world.
Susan joined Sealed Air in 2011 as the Vice President and Global HR Business Partner for the former Food Care division and various functional organizations. She was most recently the Vice President of Global HR Partners. Throughout her career, she has held numerous leadership roles for several global corporations including Snap-on Inc., where she served as Vice President of Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) leading global lean manufacturing and business process improvement. More recently, at CIRCOR International, Susan was responsible for the strategic HR and integration leadership across 12 international business units. Previously she held progressive HR and manufacturing leadership roles in the automotive industry.
Susan received her master's in international business from Marquette University and earned her bachelor's in human resource management from East Tennessee State University.
Angel Shelton Willis serves as Sealed Air’s Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. She oversees all aspects of the company’s global legal and compliance affairs, including commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property, ethics and compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
She also serves as the Executive Sponsor of Sealed Air’s Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Council, a group that promotes a diverse, equitable, trusting and inclusive culture for all Sealed Air employees.
Angel has more than 25 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Sealed Air in 2019, she served in several leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand, including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. In this position, she led global mergers and acquisitions, finance and restructuring, and legal affairs for Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa. Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Angel served as Corporate Counsel at Cummins Inc. and as an Associate at Ice Miller.
Angel is a member of the SPX Corporation board of directors and serves on the board’s nominating and governance committee. She holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Illinois, and a master of business administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Clemson University.
Tobias Grasso is President of the Americas at Sealed Air. He is responsible for business and commercial strategy implementation and regional results.
Tobias began his career at Sealed Air in 2015 and managed the company’s food packaging business as Vice President of Latin America and then President of North America. With more than 30 years of management experience in farming, processing, exports, imports, and the commercialization of food and agricultural products, Tobias now leads a team focused on increasing commercial productivity and ensuring customer value.
Prior to joining Sealed Air, Tobias served as President of Mosaic Brazil for The Mosaic Company, a leading integrated producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash. There he led the strategic growth of the company in South America, including the acquisition of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company’s fertilizer distribution business in Brazil and Paraguay.
Tobias started his career at Cargill, one of the world's top producers and distributors of agricultural products, and spent 18 years at the company ultimately serving in several management and leadership positions in the food, agriculture, and beverage businesses.
He served as Vice President of the Brazilian National Fertilizer Association from 2014 to 2015 and as a Board Member for Fertifos and Fosfertil Fertilizantes from 2005 to 2008.
Tobias is a graduate of Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Brazil with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing and finance and has Harvard Business School Agribusiness Seminar certification.
Kevin is President for the Asia Pacific region for Sealed Air. He is responsible for driving regional business growth which includes the food packaging and protective packaging businesses.
Kevin started his career journey in South Africa as a graduate accountant, working at Deloitte before moving into the industry to join Nampak, a publicly listed packaging conglomerate. Over 18 years at Nampak, Kevin served progressively in various roles as accountant and production director and had held the position of Managing Director of one of Nampak’s flexible divisions before emigrating to New Zealand.
Kevin joined Sealed Air in 2000 through the acquisition of Holmes Packaging in New Zealand where he held the position of General Manager. He began his career at Sealed Air as a business manager for laminates and paper packaging products in New Zealand. He progressively held leadership positions in New Zealand, Australia and Asia and most recently, served as Vice President of Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea, responsible for all commercial operations.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in commerce at the University of Natal and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (London) in 1994.
Gerd Wichmann is President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Sealed Air. He is responsible for driving the business growth and strategy in the region across the company’s portfolio of packaging systems, solutions and services.
Gerd joined Sealed Air in 1994, starting his career with Cryovac as an application engineer. After that, he held multiple positions of increased responsibility in research and development, portfolio, marketing for EMEA, as well as a general management role for the food equipment business globally. Most recently, Gerd served as Vice President & General Manager of Protective Packaging EMEA.
Gerd has a food technology engineering degree from KIN-Institute for Food Preservation Neumünster, Germany. He also completed a strategic marketing course at IMD Lausanne, Switzerland.
Gerd brings extensive knowledge of the packaging industry and deep expertise in the food and non-food businesses. His strategic thinking and business acumen are integral to lead our revenue and profit acceleration in EMEA, as well as continue Sealed Air’s evolution to operational excellence.
Gerd, a native of Germany, is based in Switzerland and is a passionate skier and traveler.
