Shrink wrap packaging is versatile, cost- and space-efficient, tamper-evident and lightweight, and presents lower packaging material costs than rigid alternatives.
SEALED AIR®, AUTOBAG®, and CRYOVAC® shrink films that are classified as RIC #4 LDPE can be recycled, but are not generally collected at curbside. Proper recycling of most flexible plastic films use store-drop off collection and are sent to commercial recycling centers.
