SEALED AIR HOLDS OFFICIAL GROUND BREAKING AT NEW GLOBAL HEADQUARTERS LOCATION IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

Charlotte, NC – Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE: SEE), recently held the official groundbreaking at its new global headquarters site in Charlotte, North Carolina. CEO Jerome A. Peribere was joined by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory, Charlotte Mayor Dan Clodfelter, and many other state and city representatives for the event.

Sealed Air’s new global campus will be located on Cascade Pointe Boulevard in the Lake Pointe Corporate Center in Charlotte, just off Billy Graham Parkway. The new campus will consist of three buildings and house more than 1,200 employees, including leaders from Sealed Air’s three divisions and corporate functions. It also will house the Company’s new R&D facility and a customer learning center. The campus is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

“Today is a historic day for Sealed Air. We are so proud to join the Charlotte, North Carolina business community, and bring our Company together as one team, in one headquarters location. The partnership we have experienced with local, regional, and state officials has reaffirmed our decision to call Charlotte, North Carolina our new home,” said Peribere, before the ceremony. Following the groundbreaking, Sealed Air made a donation to the local Red Cross and 200 members of its executive team volunteered one hour of their time assembling local Disaster Response Kits.
