They're manufactured under quality system ISO 15378 in ISO 7 cleanrooms to give very low levels of particulate. The multilayered film combines material strength with the widest sealing window in the market for ease of use.

NEXCEL® brand frangible seal medical films are designed for multi-chamber IV or parenteral nutrition bags that require specific performance criteria. Sealed Air has applied its expertise to the engineering of the frangible seal to make it robust, yet creating a consistent burst strength after autoclave sterilization, providing more reliable performance when being used in a healthcare setting.
