Meet: Alexandra Dumitrescu – Customer Service Lead, Export

Location: Milan, Italy.

Length of time with SEE: 7 years.

At SEE, I am passionate about: Great quality! I find it essential in all the processes and interactions, the right input for the desired output. 

The advice I would give to new employees is: Be curious! Keep the "inner fire" awakened through challenges and changes. If you put quality in your work, keep a positive spirit and improve yourself continuously, good results will come without doubts. 

What do you do here at SEE? At SEE I've started as a Customer Service Representative and now I work as a Team Leader in the Export team. This team is responsible for managing Southeast Europe, Middle East, and Central African markets. We're facing very diverse challenges as a team, due to different approaches to regulations and supply chain for each region. Being resilient is essential here, to keep focus and a positive attitude.    

I helped our SEE Operating Engine by: Collaborating with various departments daily, acting as a central point of contact for customers, while also supporting sales. I love supporting the team while we work together on solutions and alternatives as we keep SEE procedures at the front of our mind. The last few years were very challenging for export procedures, but we overcame many changes in regulations and supply chain difficulties. 

I feel a sense of belonging at SEE because: My colleagues inspire me to improve my skills and knowledge while contributing to our team's progress. SEE is a very dynamic organization, I enjoy tackling new experiences and participating in various projects launched by our company.  

The core value that inspires me the most is Integrity because: This is who I am, and what I want to be known for being; acting in an ethical manner is how I try to live my life.  

My favorite hobbies are: I love cooking and enjoying nature in its greatness. I was born in a city down the mountain, so being able to grow up in the vast beauty and wonder has made me appreciate nature. Recently, thanks to my love of swing music, I have become interested in dancing, specifically Lindy Hop dance styles. I recently attended a swing music event, and I was fascinated by how joyful the atmosphere and the dancers were. The next day, I started emailing various dance schools!
