Edward (Ted) Doheny II


Ted Doheny is President and CEO of Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE: SEE). Ted has more than 30 years of global experience leading industrial companies through business transformations with a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and digital connectivity. Prior to SEE, he was CEO of Joy Global and before this the President of Industrial Technologies and Air Solutions at Ingersoll Rand Corporation.

Ted is transforming SEE to become a world-class digital company that provides sustainable packaging solutions.

Under Ted’s leadership, SEE has pledged to design or advance 100% of their packaging materials to be recyclable or reusable by 2025, and set a bolder goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions in their global operations by 2040. He is also committed to a diverse workforce and inclusive culture and sponsored the company’s first public Diversity, Equity and Inclusion pledge.

Ted received a bachelor’s degree in engineering at Cornell University (a Cornell National Scholar) and has a master’s degree in management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.

He started as an entrepreneur with a successful produce business in St. Louis that funded his early education. Ted holds multiple patents for his inventions across various industries. He serves on the board of directors for Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN), the National Association of Manufacturers and the Alliance to End Plastic Waste.
