Sealed Air’s Cryovac Food Packaging Wins Food Processing Magazine Reader Choice Award for Packaging Material

DUNCAN, S.C. (Feb. 6, 2007) – Readers of Food Processing magazine have selected Sealed Air’s Cryovac Food Packaging as gold supplier of packaging materials for the fourth consecutive year. Cryovac Food Packaging also was selected as a bronze-level supplier of packaging equipment, its first time placing in this category. The February issue of Food Processing magazine announced the top three winners in each category.

“The unique aspect of this awards program is that winners are selected by our readers solely through top-of-mind recall; the survey does not provide aid, guidance or limitations that may influence choices or results,” explains Dave Fusaro, editor-in-chief of Food Processing magazine. “The February issue announcing the award winners is quite popular and is often kept as a resource because it enables food processors to gain insight about suppliers from their peers, those who have had first-hand experience with the products and services.”

For its fifth annual Reader Choice Awards, Food Processing magazine sent a web-based survey to more than 25,000 readers of the publication. Respondents were asked to recall the best overall supplier in 40 different categories. The survey was distributed only to readers representing food and beverage companies; readers representing suppliers or vendors could not participate in the survey.
