Cryovac’s "Happy Holidays Mr. President" Turkey Bag Presented to President Bush

Duncan, S.C. (Nov. 24, 2003) - Cryovac Food Packaging Division of Sealed Air Corporation created the 2003 edition of the "Happy Holidays Mr. President" turkey bag for the National Turkey Federation. The decorative bag was presented to President Bush at a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

Beginning in 1947, with the administration of President Harry S. Truman, the National Turkey Federation has given a holiday turkey to the U. S. president each year before Thanksgiving. For many decades, Cryovac has partnered with the National Turkey Federation to design a festive and celebratory turkey bag in honor of the holiday season.

This year’s bag is designed by Cryovac® graphic artist Renee Corn. Jaindl’s Turkey Farm in Orefield, Pa. packaged the turkey that was presented to President Bush.
