Sealed Air Introduces CelluPlank® LA Low Abrasion Foam

New Fine Cell Structure Provides Soft Feel and High Protection

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (Sept. 10, 2003) - CelluPlank® LA Low Abrasion foam, new from Sealed Air Corporation, has a fine cell structure that has a low abrasive quality and soft feel which is ideal for cushioning items that can be easily scratched or scuffed.

Delicate but durable, CelluPlank® LA foam withstands abuse throughout the distribution cycle and provides shock absorption, vibration dampening and insulation. The foam is resilient enough to recover from multiple impacts throughout the shipping and distribution process, and offers long-term, consistent cushioning performance. In addition, CelluPlank® LA foam is an alternative to more expensive cross-linked foams.

CelluPlank® LA low abrasion foam can be used as reusable tote liners and inserts or to package a variety of items including OEM parts, internal and external transport of automotive parts, medical devices and equipment, military equipment and munitions, and windshield and glass packaging.

CelluPlank® LA foam comes standard in a 2-inch by 24-inch by 108-inch size and is available in natural or black, with 2-pound per cubic foot density and a 4-pound per cubic foot density.
