Sealed Air’s Cryovac Food Packaging Division Wins Third Consecutive Readers’ Choice Award from Food Processing

Cryovac Named Gold Supplier in Two Categories

DUNCAN, S.C. (Feb. 7, 2006) - Sealed Air’s Cryovac Food Packaging Division has been named gold supplier in the packaging materials category in Food Processing magazine’s readers’ choice awards for the third consecutive year, as well as gold supplier in the form/fill/seal equipment category. The February issue of the publication announced the top three winners in each of the 49 categories.

"We think this awards program is especially meaningful because the winners are chosen by actual food processors, our readers, with no guidance or limitations from Food Processing magazine," says Dave Fusaro, editor in chief. "No spec sheet or sales rep can give information and recommendations as trustworthy or valuable as insight from another food processor, who has had first-hand experience with these providers of products and services."

In November 2005, Food Processing magazine sent an email with a web-based survey to about 20,000 of its subscribers. Participants were asked to recall the best overall supplier in numerous categories. Unaided, the majority of survey respondents named the Cryovac Food Packaging Division of Sealed Air as the best overall supplier of packaging materials and best overall supplier of form/fill/seal equipment.
