The Difference is in the Barrier

All air cellular packaging material is made with polyethylene, which is very durable and economical, but it does not provide good air retention charactieristics under a weight load and over time. That's why Sealed Air employs a co-extruded barrier that is 100 times more resistant to the passage of air. The result is a thinner, stronger, more flexible material that retains its air and cushioning power much longer and under greater pressure than non-barrier "bargain" brands.
