Foam-in-Bag Process

Foam-in-Bag: Foam-filled bags can be created in a variety of sizes and shapes and used for void fill, blocking and bracing and moulded cushions.

Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag - Step 1 1. Touch of a button operation allows selection of the required foam filled bag. Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag - Step 2 2. The operator places the foam-filled bag into the carton and nestles the product into the expanding cushion.
Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag - Step 3 3. A second foam-filled bag is placed on top of the product and the carton flaps closed. Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag - Step 4 4. The foam-filled bag expands around the product and against the carton to form a top cushion.

Foam-in-Bag Moulding: Custom-designed cushions that provide optimum protection are produced quickly and easily using any one of our Instapak® foam-in-bag moulding systems.

Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag Moulding - Step 1 1. With the touch of a button, the SpeedyPacker system quickly dispenses an Instapak® foam-filled bag. Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag Moulding - Step 2 2. When placed into the mould enclosure, an on-board vacuum draws the foam-filled bag into the cavity.
Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag Moulding - Step 3 3. The operator removes the finished cushion from the mould cavity where it has been allowed to fully expand. Instapak® Foam Packaging Processes: Foam-in-Bag Moulding - Step 4 4. In less than a minute, a cost-effective engineered packaging cushion is ready to protect your product during shipping and handling.
