Cryovac® Wrap.it

Cryovac® Wrap.it is a family of rigid trays that are designed and suitable for the most common and uncommon wrapping applications. Many of our trays are suitable for stretch overwrap applications, however we also have a specific range of trays designed for CRYOVAC BDF® overwrap applications. There are many more applications that can be thought of for wrapping applications and include Cryovac® packaging systems such as SES, SSD, MRX which all require suitable trays.

CRYOVAC BDF® Rigid Trays (BDF T)

Cryovac® thermoformed polypropylene rigid trays are part of the CRYOVAC BDF® System for MAP packaging of fresh foods.

• With their smooth tray flanges and corners finished design, CRYOVAC BDF® T Rigid Trays safeguard product freshness avoiding accidental film puncturing.
• With their oval design, CRYOVAC BDF® T Rigid trays guarantee superior pack appearance.
• CRYOVAC BDF® T Rigid trays, not releasing air, avoid internal atmosphere dilution and safeguard product freshness.
• Microwaveable for re-heating and de-frosting applications.

Whole Bird Rigid trays (WBT)

A range of specifically designed trays that will allow whole fresh chickens to be packaged in a leak proof package. This new overwrap package of Cryovac® SES film and WBT gives the retailer clean shelves and reduces contamination in the consumer shopping basket.

The range of 4 tray sizes covers the complete European fresh whole chicken retail offer. The range of trays will pack from 0.75 Kg up to 2.5 Kg birds needed for the UK market.

The range is built using environmentally sound materials (based on polypropylene) and are completely free from PVC, making them suitable for all countries in Europe. They can be made in a variety of colours especially white, blue, yellow and clear. The design ensures they are robust enough to cope with the modern distribution and retailing chain.
