Since the first Packforum was established here in Paris, it has evolved far beyond its initial role as a permanent, year-round Sealed Air Cryovac customer care and exhibition centre.
Today, Packforum is a vibrant microcosm of the European food processing, packaging and retailing world. Its expanded 2,300 sq.m. floor space is host to a whole range of activities: specialised seminars and events covering every sector of the established and expanding European food markets as well as specialised training sessions, hands-on equipment and super-market displays.
But it is also much more than that: it’s about the people in our industry. Packforum is where producers, processors and retailers from all over Europe, the Middle East and South Africa, and at every level, come – either as companies or as individuals – to exchange information and ideas, to discover the latest developments and innovations, to see what other countries are doing, to create partnerships, all this in a relaxing atmosphere.
Packforum® goes global.
Packforum® Asia celebrated its opening in Shanghai on July 1st 2008 with a Retail Packaging Seminar which attracted 50 key players from the Asian fresh food industry.
Hot on its heels, Packforum® Americas, covering North and Latin America, opened the doors to its high-tech, 2,600 sq.m. facility in September 2008.
