3rd AMENDMENT OF DIRECTIVE 2002/72/EC PUBLISHED
Commission Directive 2005/79/EC, amending for the third time Directive 2002/72/EC on "plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with food" has been published in the EC Official Journal on November 18th, 2005.
It provides updated lists of monomers and additives allowed in the manufacturing of food contact plastics, with relevant limitations and purity criteria, where applicable.
Member States have 12 months for the adoption of all measures contained in the above-mentioned amendment.
